Terms of Service

These Terms of Service, Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk govern participation in classes, programs, events, treatments, memberships, workshops, private sessions and services offered by Soundscape Wellness Inc.

By purchasing, booking, attending, creating an account or using our facilities or website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.

Part 1 – Assumption of Risk

Participation in wellness, fitness and therapeutic activities involves inherent risks. While Soundscape Wellness strives to provide a safe, welcoming and professionally operated environment, injuries and unforeseen events may still occur.

Health Acknowledgement

You certify that you are physically capable of participating in the services you choose. Consult your physician before participating if you have medical concerns and immediately notify staff if you experience unusual symptoms.

Photosensitive Warning

Some immersive studio experiences use projection mapping, moving imagery, dynamic lighting, visual effects and lasers. Individuals with epilepsy, seizure disorders, photosensitivity or migraines triggered by light should consult their physician before participating.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Soundscape Wellness Inc., its owners, employees, contractors, instructors and representatives from claims arising from participation in services or use of our facilities.

Personal Responsibility

You agree to exercise reasonable care, follow instructor directions, use equipment safely, wear appropriate clothing and footwear, stay hydrated and inform staff of concerns or injuries.

Personal Property

Soundscape Wellness is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property brought onto our premises. Guests are encouraged to leave valuables at home.

Memberships, Passes & Bookings

Memberships, class passes, packages and appointments are subject to the terms applicable at the time of purchase. Bookings may require advance payment and some memberships automatically renew until cancelled.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Appointments, classes and private sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled according to Soundscape Wellness’s current cancellation policy. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the full session fee being charged.

Fitness Classes

Fitness classes involve varying levels of exertion. Exercise within your abilities, stop if pain or discomfort occurs, disclose relevant injuries and follow all safety directions.

Sound Journeys, Meditation & Breathwork

These experiences may produce emotional, mental or physical responses including deep relaxation, emotional release, temporary dizziness, fatigue, tingling sensations and changes in mood. They are not medical treatment or guaranteed outcomes.

Massage Therapy & Private Treatments

Clients agree to disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, recent surgeries or health concerns before treatment. Specific therapeutic or medical results are not guaranteed.

Vibroacoustic Sound Bed Sessions

Vibroacoustic therapy combines low-frequency sound, vibration, music and relaxation techniques. Individuals with pacemakers, implanted devices, uncontrolled epilepsy or relevant medical concerns should consult a physician.

Personal Conduct

Participants must treat staff and guests respectfully, follow directions, avoid harassment and disruptive behaviour, respect privacy, avoid recording others without permission and refrain from attending while impaired.

Memberships & Passes

Memberships, class packages, promotional offers and passes are personal to the purchaser and may not be transferred, resold or shared unless expressly authorized.

Website & Account Use

Users must provide accurate information, maintain current contact details, keep login credentials confidential and accept responsibility for activity under their account.

Photography & Media

Soundscape Wellness may photograph or record classes, events or promotional content. If you do not wish to appear, notify a staff member before the start of your class or event.

Intellectual Property

All logos, branding, class names, written materials, graphics, videos, photography, music and website content remain the exclusive property of Soundscape Wellness Inc. or its licensors.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia unless otherwise required by law.

Severability

If any provision is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
